Back in Tacloban! (March 2013)

So in 2010, I went to Tacloban with Charm. We had an awesome time food tripping! I never really finished blogging about that trip though. Blame it on my turtle slow internet connection.

This year, I decided to take Ethel. She was so jealous of all the resto hopping that Charm and I did, so we did just that, when we went there. Originally the plan was, to go to Biri in Samar to see those magnificent rock formations. This is part of the reason why the trip was 4 days. Upon preparing the itinerary though, I found out that from Tacloban, Biri is an 8 hour trip with at least 3-4 stops. I imagined totally freaking out from stress of hopping from van to boat to a habal habal motorbike (that I totally do not ever want to do again after my Davao trip a couple of years ago). Not to mention that the place had no electricity from 6pm to 6am. Ethel would totally die. Haha! I might as well kill her.

So to avoid the unnecessary stress, we decided to just stay in Tacloban and just go around the city.

I just came back from a backpack-suitcase 4 day trip from Vietnam and Cambodia. Tired but HAPPY! I was with two other girlfriends and was honestly quite worried that we were going to these countries, just us girls. I had reason to worry but we survived it!

El Nido Fail. (February 2012)

Of all the places I’ve been in the archipelago, Palawan is the place I will always come back to. Last February, we were supposed to fly to El Nido for a leadership planning at work. The committee made sure that everything was set, up to the last detail.

My First Ever Suitcase! (January 2011)

At last, I finally got myself a suitcase! I've always been a backpacker and it's always been fine because using a backpack saves me a lot of time, but I've been feeling backaches lately. I can't even carry my laptop bag for more than an hour without my back breaking. Argh, is that a sign of old age?

But I'm only twenty-freakin-seven!

Foodie Budget Traveler - FBT Just Crossed Seas! (Bohol-Cebu. October 2010)

Had myself a little time off to relieve some unwanted stress from work.

Planned this trip way before I thought I'd be swamped with work. Good thing I met the deadlines the Friday before I left. I had to stay at work till 1am Saturday morning just to make sure I can enjoy the weekend. As usual, this is just a teaser post, until I can find time to post everything in detail.

I wish life would be just about traveling and seeing the world. That would have been awesome. Where can I find a job like that?!

Lung Center (Quezon City. February 2010)

Been to Lung Center a lot lately. I guess I just wanted some good food + shopping. Haha! Plus, I wanted a place where I can shoot a lot of activities. You can never go wrong with this location. It would have been better if I had a DSLR, because everything was moving! I'm thinking of buying one soon, I just have to do some research.

BOHOL Adventure! (Visayas, Philippines. 9.26-27.09)

We were debating about going to Bohol because it would be more expensive but coz Charm and i care more about the adventure than the cost, we won! hehe.

Because of Ondoy, we had a hell of a roller coaster boat ride from Cebu to Bohol! I swear I thought we were goners! The boat was jumping as high as 10 feet I think! Our boat was battered like hell, it took us more than 2hrs to get to Bohol when we should have been there within 1.15 hours. Anyway, we got over it as soon as we got a van to take us around the city. :)

Despite that killer ride, I don't regret going. I had so much fun and the company was great! Mwahhh! Next time again guys!

*Checked in at Dumaluan beach in Panglao. We got the tree house! Yipee!
*Had lunch in Loboc river.
*Went to see the world famous chocolate hills.
*Saw the man made forest
*Met some tarsiers!
*Went to Baclayon church w/c was a lil creepy

*In the morning, we chilled at the beach (Panglao).

Lung Center Breakfast. (Quezon City. January 2010)

Had nothing to do that day so I decided to got to the Lung Center Sunday Market for breakfast. After taking a few photos and just looking around, I looked for something to eat.

Stuffed squids looked delish! I didn't buy these. I didn't have my allergy pills with me.
