Hizons Food Tasting Event (Makati.PH. November 2009)

Last November 2009, we were invited to attend a FREE food tasting event of Hizon's, a local popular catering service in the Philippines. I got a random email invitation and just signed up. Amazing, right! Haha! talk about gazillion calories!

Best Crispy Pata at Bob Marlin, Naga City. PH.

Bob Marlin is perfect if you want to drink the night away. It's good for dinners too. Last November 2009, I went there after almost 5 years. I can't believe how it looks and feels the same. Still so inviting...

The placemats were cool.

Mesa, Greenbelt 5. Makati, PH.

I wanted to have a quiet dinner in a decent place so I chose Greenbelt 5. Greenbelt 5 is not exactly a budget friendly place but I read from a lot of foodie blogs that Mesa offers an affordable menu compared to all the other restos in the location. Mesa is co-owned by Senator Kiko Pangilinan, Megastar Sharon Cuneta's husband. I was not impressed by the food the first time I went there so I thought I'd give the place another chance. This time, I wasn't disappointed. :)

I was looking for a new place to eat at where I can use Bugris (my laptop), meaning I can plug her in. I saw this nice coffee stop in one of SM Fairview's corners. One of my requirements when trying a new place is that it should be clean and not too crowded because I like taking my time when I eat out and I don't like people running around me when I dine.

Ice Scramble at the Mall!

I saw this kiosk at the mall and got excited! I miss having scrambles. I used to buy one every afternoon when I was a kid from street vendors at the province.

I'm so excited to start this travel foodie blog! I was inspired to document all my food and travel adventures because I was reading a lot about travel blogs online. I hope I can post some interesting stuff soon!

Some introduction is in order so I'm gonna start with my name. I am Ezra and ever since I've had that trip with Sheila in Cebu in 2006, I have been a travel addict. Much more so if I had more means to do it more often. My dream job is to do something that requires me to travel and try new cuisines all the time! That will be the day that I will be in euphoria. Haha.

Anyway, expect a lot of budget food and travel posts (because I prefer inexpensive adventures). I will try to keep each post short but informative because I know we don't have all the time in the world. Feel free to express your opinions in the comment box. Follow me if you want to be updated on my future posts.
