Red Rice Day! (February 3, 2013)

They say 3 cups of red rice = 1 cup of white rice. Is that true?

I'm starting to eat rice again after 2 years of avoiding it. I promised my baby sister that I'm going to start eating rice again on her birthday (that was last week), so I did.

Been having stomach anxieties every time I eat rice though. And I don't like eating it anymore (YEY!).

Our second attempt to cook Padthai. 1st time we forgot the bean sprouts, this time we forgot the egg. Still yummy!

Been craving for Pad Thai for days, but Pad Thais are so expensive when you buy it. Around 300-350 Php if you want the good ones. I can't take a taxi to get the best Pad Thai I've tasted in the streets of Bangkok, so the best solution is... make one!

I don't count rice noodles as rice. So just zip it, okay?

Purge Crooked Cab Drivers! (February 2011)

I’ve been a victim of abusive taxi drivers too many times. With meters running so fast, sometimes it doubles my tab. Also, I didn’t mind cab drivers who refused to take you until I found out that was illegal. I esp. hate cabbies who ask for additional Php 50 only after you’re already 5 minutes in the cab. I swear if I had a taser, I’d zap you crooks from behind.

Lung Center (Quezon City. February 2010)

Been to Lung Center a lot lately. I guess I just wanted some good food + shopping. Haha! Plus, I wanted a place where I can shoot a lot of activities. You can never go wrong with this location. It would have been better if I had a DSLR, because everything was moving! I'm thinking of buying one soon, I just have to do some research.

I looove Mexicali because of their buritto and unlimited garlic and hot sauce. The servings are big too, so you can be sure that you will be full after a meal.

Bad Pasta. (Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Greenbelt 3, Makati. February 2010)

Absolutely the worst pasta I have ever tasted, including my pastas. I can't even describe how it tasted. Some sort of salty-bitter-spicy combination of yuckyness. But guess what, I was starving that evening and I finished the whole plate. WTF, right? So it couldn't have been that bad. You be the judge and order one.
