Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I cooked late dinner (11 pm) and it wasn't a disaster! Yipeeeee! What's funny is, I spent 6 hrs this afternoon eating at the Yummy Eats event at Rockwell Tent (hope to blog about it separately). I can't believe how much I ate today! Raaar!

For those interested, here's how i did this dish.

Ingredients :
Minced pork
2 small eggplants - cut into strips
1 square tofu - cut into squares
1 can of Shitake mushroom (forgot the brand) - chop into small pieces
1 clove of garlic - minced
Chili oil and garlic (McCormick)
Magic Sarap
Oyster sauce
Pepper
Sugar
Butter

Procedure : Deep fry the tofu separately until golden brown. Drain excess oil with tissue and set aside. On a separate pan, saute garlic in butter. Once golden, include the minced pork. When the pork is cooked, add the mushroom. The mushroom takes a while to cook because it's slimy, so make sure that you are okay with the texture. Add the eggplants once the mushroom is cooked. Depending on how well you can tolerate it, add the chili. I put lots 'coz I like my food spicy. Put a bit of oyster sauce, pepper, magic sarap and sugar depending on your preference. I didn't know what I was doing, I was just wasn't sleepy and I didn't want the tofu to go bad. Haha! Once everything is ready, add the tofu and mix for a bit before serving.

I'm still not sleepy, so I have the energy to blog about this. I wish humans didn't have to sleep. Sleeping is a total waste of time. I can just imagine all the things we could have done if sleeping wasn't a necessity. I'm blabbing, sorry. Hope I have more time to do this.  :)
